This unique 1:00 PM tour starts at the Rest House—a historic A-bombed building in Peace Memorial Park.
After seeing several key stories and sites, including the iconic Atomic Bomb Dome, we’ll take a local bus to the Mitaki area. Guided by a local licensed guide, you’ll enjoy a refreshing walk through the lush nature of Mitaki Temple.
It’s a rare chance to reflect on peace while viewing historic wooden A-bombed structures found nowhere else in the city center. This is a tour following a story of peace, which you can experience only in Hiroshima.
For the return journey, we will take a train from JR Mitaki Station to Hiroshima Station. The tour lasts approximately 3.5 to 4 hours.
Meeting
The tour starts promptly at 1:00 PM to catch our scheduled local bus. Please arrive with plenty of time for check-in or using the restroom, as any delay may limit the sites we can visit.
Since we will walk about 8,000 to 9,000 steps, we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and bringing your own drinks.
Timeless Journey, Sensory Peace

How to Make the Most of Your Day
Just arrived in Hiroshima? Even in half a day, this tour offers a meaningful way to reflect on the reality of the atomic bombing and its aftermath.
You can also visit the Peace Memorial Museum at your own pace in the morning. Since the museum is in the same park as our meeting point, it can be an efficient way to start your day before joining us at 1:00 PM.
